Credits
Credits are what Owlfy’s AI features run on. Everyone gets free Credits every week, and some memberships add extra Membership Credits every month.
What uses Credits
Section titled “What uses Credits”- Voice Writing, Smart Phrases, and writing styles / translation
- Voice Shortcuts and selected-text processing
- The AI Agent, based on actual usage (varies by model)
- Some skills, especially online image and video generation
Higher plans make more features unlimited. For how each feature uses Credits and what each plan includes, see the Owlfy pricing page.
Check your Credits
Section titled “Check your Credits”Click the membership card at the bottom of the main menu to open My Credits:

Get more Credits
Section titled “Get more Credits”- Upgrade or renew your membership
- Complete tasks under Earn from Tasks
- Invite friends
- Redeem a code
Keep spending in check
Section titled “Keep spending in check”In Settings → AI, turn on Require confirmation for skills that cost more than a set amount (10 by default). Owlfy then asks before going over that amount. If you don’t confirm within 2 minutes, the task is cancelled.
Using your own models
Section titled “Using your own models”If you connect your own third-party or local model in Settings → AI, Owlfy doesn’t charge Credits when the AI Agent uses it. Third-party model usage is billed by that provider; local models just use your own computer.
Out of Credits
Section titled “Out of Credits”The AI Agent shows “Credits exhausted”. Click Recharge Now to top up. If a task is still running in the background, check on it before sending the same request again.
