Documents and Spreadsheets
Drag documents or spreadsheets into the AI Agent. Tell it which part to look at, what to do, and what format you want back, and it takes it from there.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”| Goal | Try saying |
|---|---|
| Summarize | ”Summarize these three reports and list what they agree and disagree on.” |
| Extract | ”Put the amounts, dates, and payment terms from these contracts into a table.” |
| Merge or split PDFs | ”Merge these into one PDF in file-name order.” “Save the first 10 pages as a separate file.” |
| Tidy up text | ”Turn these meeting notes into formal minutes.” |
| Analyze data | ”Total sales by month and draw a trend chart.” |
| Create documents | ”Make a Word document / slide deck from this outline.” |
| Convert | ”Convert this Markdown file to PDF.” |
| Ask across files | ”Which quote in this folder is the cheapest?” |
How to ask
Section titled “How to ask”- Give it the files, and say what order they go in if there are several.
- Narrow it down: which sheet, which columns, which pages, which section.
- Say what content and formatting to keep.
- Say what format, file name, and location you want.
For example: “Merge these two sheets by customer ID, keep every row, list duplicate customers separately, and give me an Excel file.”
Check the results
Section titled “Check the results”Open finished files from the Outputs panel. Check numbers, formulas, references, and layout, and verify important conclusions in AI-written summaries against the source. Scanned files, encrypted files, and very complex layouts may not come out as well.
Big batches
Section titled “Big batches”With lots of files, try one first. Once you’re happy, say “do the rest the same way”. Setting naming and output rules up front saves a lot of redoing.
