Section titled “Your data is kept”Uninstalling removes only the app. Your Voice Notebook, conversations, clipboard history, and settings stay on your computer, so they’re still there if you reinstall.
To remove everything, delete these folders after uninstalling:
| What | macOS | Windows | Linux |
|---|---|---|---|
| App data and settings | ~/Library/Application Support/Owlfy | %APPDATA%\Owlfy | ~/.config/Owlfy |
| Files the AI created (default) | ~/Documents/Owlfy/Artifacts | Documents\Owlfy\Artifacts | ~/Documents/Owlfy/Artifacts |
If you changed Settings → AI → Output location, look in the folder you chose instead. Deleted data can’t be recovered, so back up anything you need first.
